STANFORD ENGINEERING QUAD
Stanford, California

Pictured here is the first of four buildings in the new Stanford Engineering Quad: the Jerry Yang and Akiko Yamazaki Environment and Energy Building. This new 166,000 sf interdisciplinary research and teaching facility will soon be followed by two more buildings, the new School of Engineering Building and the Nano Center. An engineer now of PLM, together with other engineers belonging to a firm in which PLM's principals were formerly principals, was involved in the structural engineering services provided for the project.
