This is an 8-story, 153,000 sf housing and recreation building in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. The first 3 floors of the building comprise the Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center. The top 5 floors, known as Railton Place, provide housing for 100 previously homeless people and other transitional housing clients. This project won a 2009 AIA/SF Citation Award for Excellence in Architecture.
