OHLONE COLLEGE
FREMONT, California

The first phase consisted of about six buildings housing administration, classrooms, gymnasium with large outdoor swimming pool, and library. The structural systems consist of structural steel moment frames with the exception of the gymnasium which was a braced frame structure. The campus is located on a hill side which required extensive use of retaining walls for some of the buildings, some of them three stories high.
